Certification - ITS Updates

On May 29, Autodesk with their test delivery system vendor, ITS, will release a number of new components and updates to Autodesk Online (https://autodesk.starttest.com/).

What’s changing?
• Rebranding website https://autodesk.starttest.com/ in line with new Autodesk branding, this includes the candidate and centre login pages.
• New inventory component for ACC distributors and ACCs.
• New training test for ACCs and distributors to use to practice inventory requests and delivering a test session.
• New Certification Candidate Agreement and Logo Guidelines – this will also be included in all 2014 exams.

When is this happening?
• The deployment of the new components will occur on Wednesday May 29 at 11:00 EST.
• Deployment will take approx. 3 hours to complete.
Will my centres experience any downtime during the deployments?
• These deployments do not change any of the test delivery tools so no test delivery will be affected.
• The inventory component changes may affect inventory allocation during this time but ITS is available to support these requests if an issue arises. This is not anticipated.

What happens if there is an issue?
• ITS Technical Support is available during this time, please use the following contact details to raise a case: +1-800-514-8492  or +1-443-573-8397

• ITS have extra staff available during this time to ensure the deploy goes smoothly for all ACC partners.

What should I do to help my centres prepare?
• Any centres who are delivering tests to candidates between May 28-30 should ensure they have purchased/requested their inventory prior to May 28 in order to avoid any possible disruptions. Though, no downtime is anticipated during the deployment.

Where can I find more information?
• Engage will provide instructions on inventory changes for all ACCs on May 29. The process remains the same but the components have been updated and provide better service for distributors.
• Information will also be provided on how to use the new training test for distributor to include in their training or ACCs.

Also for ACCs to use within their organisation.
