Release of Update Center Search components

On Wednesday June 5, there will be an update to the Center Search component on Autodesk Online (https://autodesk.starttest.com/).

 
As part of the improvements, the Supported Configuration settings for all ACCs will have to be reset in the system. This means ALL ACCs will need to reconfigure their settings from June 6 onwards to be searchable in the Center Search component for candidates.
 
Why are you making this change?

• To provide the updated component for centers the developers were unable to retain the original settings. However, the improvement should mean ACCs have better tools available for them to promote their certification services.

When is the change being made?

• The deployment of the new components will occur on Wednesday June 5 at 11:00 EST.
• Deployment will take approx. 3 hours to complete.

What are the improvements?

• Now returns the closest 20 results to candidate instead of 10. (Distance is a straight line calculated from the center point of your search criteria and does not reflect driving distance.)
• Candidates can click on the center name to access:
• Center Location on Google Map
• Email directly to center contact
• Direct link to center website

Do I need to inform my centers and when should they take action?

• Yes, we have provided a template notification email for all ACCs which you can download here.
• ALL ACCs will need to re-configure their Support Configurations from June 6 onwards. This is important so candidates are able to search for ACCs on the website.
• Regular reminders will be sent to distributors from Engage over the next 3 months.
