Update Center Search components - released June 5

On Wednesday June 5, the update to the Center Search component on Autodesk Online (https://autodesk.starttest.com/) was completed.

 
CALL TO ACTION:
As part of the improvements, the Supported Configuration settings for all ACCs was reset in the system. All ACCs need to reconfigure their settings to be searchable in the Center Search component for candidates.
Please contact all your ACCs to remind them to update their configurations.
 
Why are you making this change?

• To provide the updated component for centers the developers were unable to retain the original settings. However, the improvement should mean ACCs have better tools available for them to promote their certification services.

When is the change being made?

• The deployment of the new components was released on Wednesday June 5.

What are the improvements?

• Center Search now returns the closest 20 results to candidate instead of 10. (Distance is a straight line calculated from the center point of your search criteria and does not reflect driving distance.)
• Candidates can click on the center name to access:
• Center Location on Google Map
• Email directly to center contact
• Direct link to center website

Do I need to inform my centers and when should they take action?

• Yes, we have provided a template notification email for all ACCs.
• All ACCs will need to re-configure their Support Configurations. This is important so candidates are able to search for ACCs on the website.
• Regular reminders will be sent to distributors from Engage over the next 3 months.
