IMPORTANT: Changes to PDB - Action Required

As referred to in earlier emails, we will be upgrading the PDB and the ATC Evaluation System on January 16th 2014.

 


In order to do this, both systems will be shut down and taken offline for up to 90 minutes. The systems will be offline from 08:30am to no later than 10:00am US Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 16th. All users in the systems at that time will be logged out, so please ensure you log out before 08:30 EST.
 
Just a reminder; these changes are to allow us to

  • launch the new Identity Manager (IdP) tool which will control logins to many tools and systems
  • provide a direct login using the Identity Manager (IdP) to PDB for all current PDB users as of January 16th
  • if you have not yet confirmed your PDB users to Engage it is essential to do so now.
  • provide a direct login mechanism for ATCs to the Evaluation system when Partner Portal goes offline on January 31st
  • note that each ATC ORG will need a contact record in PDB, affiliated to at least one of the sites in that ORG; and this contact will be set up to provide login authority to the Evaluation system.

ACTIONS REQUIRED:

  • Please ensure your ATCs are aware of the system downtime; we have provided a template announcement below; please review this to communicate the announcement, and to make sure you can collect the necessary information to ensure ATCs have login in the future.
  • Please ensure you have a contact record in at least 1 site in every company who will be given access to the Evaluation system before January 31st.

ATC UPDATE: Important notice: ATC Evaluation System Downtime January 16th 2014
 
Autodesk will be upgrading the ATC Evaluation System on January 16th 2014. In order to do this, the Evaluation system will be shut down and taken offline for up to 90 minutes. The system will be offline from 08:30am to no later than 10:00am US Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 16th. All users in the system at that time will be logged out, so please ensure you log out before 08:30 EST.
 
This is the first step in a series of changes to allow a direct login mechanism for ATCs to the Evaluation system when Partner Portal goes offline on January 31st

  • at the end of January, the current Partner Portal is scheduled to be turned off
  • your distributor will need to ensure you have at least one person defined in our database who will be given access to the Evaluation system after January 31st
  • please ensure you notify your distributor as soon as possible  who in your organization should have access to the Evaluation system.
