IMPORTANT UPDATE for distributors: PDB Update for Academic Partners; Academic Partner Locator

Autodesk Education has released an update to Partner Database (PDB) to add a new Partner Type, called Academic Partners, and a new partner Locator for Academic Partners.

In PDB, this new partner type works fundamentally the same way as any other partner type, and can be updated or added just like an ATC Partner type.
The Training partner tab has been updated to show the Academic Partner information next to the ATC information in the tab header area.

There are also some new data recording areas at the bottom of the training partner tab, which will be used to store information about academic goals and projects; more details will be provided soon.

Please note; the Academic Partner type has been automatically added to any ATC site that had the “A3P (FY13) and Academic ATC (FY14)” site attribute recorded. This site attribute is no longer to be used.
 
AAP Locator
The Academic Partner Locator uses data from PDB to find academic partners for the customer. As this system uses PDB data it is essential to maintain data in PDB for academic partners.

ACTION:
Please check the following data in PDB for all Academic Partners:
- Site Name and Address
- Site email
- Site website
- Academic partner type is assigned
- FY15 site accreditations are assigned to the site.
