ALERT: SSL 3.0 Vulnerability – POODLE Bug - DISCONTINUE SUPPORT FOR IE 6 on Monday November 3, 2014
Due to the recently discovered vulnerability in SSL 3.0 (POODLE Bug), ITS will discontinue support for Internet Explorer 6 (IE6), from November 3, 2014.
Any centre that launches the secure browser on a computer with IE6 will get an error message and will need to upgrade to IE7 or higher in order to test.
Kindly treat this message as urgent and inform all ACC/ATCs to upgrade their Internet Explorer browser to version 7 (IE7) or higher. A template message that you can use for your ATC/ACCs is also given below.
