Exciting Fusion Activities Update
We are pleased to share with you a summary of all global Fusion actitivities below.
ACTION: Please post the below activities on your local ATC Portal as soon as possible so that your partners can see all the exciting Fusion activities around the world.
Fusion Training / Certification
1. 7,772 (students/individual) attended Fusion training offered by partners.
a. 2,331 attended a full Fusion training
b. 1,599 attended an integrated CAD+ Fusion class.
c. Rest attended Fusion related workshops
2. 399 students took Fusion certification, 229 awarded.
Fusion Activities
1. Japan education distributor, Maruhan participated in two education event to promote Fusion awareness & certification.
a. Edix Expo, May 17-19, Japan. Over 30,000 attended the Edix expo.
b. Graphic Academic conference, Chiba, Japan. 150 universities professors attended the conference.
2. 164 students from Taiwan universities and high schools participated in the final of Autodesk Design Competition held on May 20 supported by Gotop, education distributor. The competition focued on Revit, Inventor and Fusion. 16 out of 35 students entered Fusion final.
3. ACAA, China Education distributor developed 90 sessions Fusion e-learning to enable partners, educators and students. Access is free but requires member login.
4. 60 educators, 20 colleges from Inner Mongolia Technical College of Construction, Hohhot Vocational College, Chifeng university and Inner Mongolia Technical College of Mechanics and Electric, attended Fusion awareness event hosted by ACAA and BiMuYun, an AAP.
5. 167 Education Partners & Educators attended the FY18 Education Partners summit in HangZhou, China on April 27. The summit focused on introducing a new opportunity in the Vocational Education and International development, Autodesk FY18 plan, Fusion activities and Fusion Elite program.
6. ACAA setup Fusion 360 lab @ Tianjin University on May 24. ACAA established student community in Tianjin to drive Fusion adoption, 55 students joined the community. 48 educators and students attended Fusion training on May 24.
7. 27 students (Yr 1) from Kookmin University, Korea attended Designathon (32 hrs) conducted by CADom Academy. 24 submitted their D4I.
8. MicroCADD (ATC) conducted Fusion training for 20 instructors from TESDA, Philippines (23 - 24 May), MicroCADD worked with Tesda to drive Fusion into vocational institutions. Tesda (Technical Education and Skill Development Authority) is a government body that regulate course offering from vocational institutions and private training for Philippines.
9. NWH, ASEAN distributor together with De Lasalle DeZon institution, Philippines and Student community prepared 56 students (30 student expert / ambassadors) to drive Fusion awareness and adoption.
10. Republic Polytechnic, Singapore run 3D Print competition for K12. 60 students from 8 K12 schools attended Fusion training on 29-31 May. Competition supported by NWH, education distributor.
11. 3DS PT Tiga (ATC/AAP) in Indonesia conducted Monthly Fusion challenge competition. 115 students participated the session.
12. 87 students from German Jordanian University (Jordan) participated in local Design Now competition supported by Omni Plan (ATC/AAP). Competition used D4I – Design for Medical Innovation as theme.
13. ETC, LATAM education distributor worked with 4 universities to conduct Fusion bootcamp for over 800 students and teachers.

c. 209 students - Colegio Metropolitano de Guatemala
d. 83 students - Catholic University of Santa Catarina
ATC offering Fusion paid class
1. Block (Japan), ATC has started to offer Fusion to commercial customers as part of their paid course offering.
2. MicroCADD (Philippines), ATC started to offer Fusion as part of their paid course offering.
Insititution adopting Fusion into classroom
1. ChungHwa university (Taiwan), Mechanical Engineering faculty are adopting Fusion into their Yr1 “Innovative Design and Management” course. 30 students will go through 16 hours of Fusion and 16 hours of Max training. The course started in May.
2. Republic Poly (Singapore), Engineering in Business faculty are adopting Fusion into their Y1-3 “Integrated Product Design & Prototyping” The course started in April. 150 students are taking the course.
3. Petra Christian University (Indonesia) are adopting Fusion into their Mechatronics and Machinery Engineering course. The course started in April. 150 students enrolled on this course.
4. Universitas Mercu Buana (Indonesia) are adopting Fusion into their Industrial Engineering course. The course started in April. 100 students enrolled on this course.
Customers adopting Fusion
1. 10 manufacturing companies adopt Fusion after attending Fusion training from ATC in LATAM.
