Important Changes to InfraWorks Services

On April 9, 2018, changes to InfraWorks services went into effect. These changes were made in order to comply with new European Union General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and to meet SOC2 standards.

As of April 9th, these changes affect InfraWorks subscribers in several ways:

  • Customers who are using InfraWorks release version 2018.2 or earlier will no longer be able to perform new watershed analyses, traffic simulations, line girder analyses, profile and corridor optimizations.
  • Any existing web and mobile views will no longer be available.

As these changes to InfraWorks incorporate the latest best practices for data privacy and cloud security, it will help improve the security of customer data.

Aside from these changes, in the latest release of InfraWorks (released on April 16, 2018), group sharing functionality in InfraWorks is transitioned to Autodesk BIM 360, giving customers more robust enterprise collaboration capabilities.
