Specialized Products Approval Process
Some of Autodesk's software require ALPs to go through an annual authorization process. This refers to the products marked in orange on the NFR SKU List, such as BIM360 products as well as others.
All Approval to Train Specialized Products Request Forms are reviewed by the Learning Partner Distributor, Autodesk Learning Partner Channel Manager, and the Autodesk Partner Manager responsible for the commercial business in the Territory.
An approval from the Autodesk Partner Manager or Territory Manager’s will need to be received before sending the final documentation to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Any current Learning Partner or Learning Partner candidate submitting an Approval to Train Specialized Products Request Form must also be an authorized Autodesk Solution Provider (formerly known as an Autodesk VAR), Autodesk MAKE Partner, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Advanced Partner, or other type of Autodesk partner (“Autodesk Partner”) who is authorized to resell the Specialized Products they are requesting to train on.
For ALPs partners that are not included in the above category, and want to apply for Specialized products, please review these cases with your ALP Channel Manager before submitting them to the Distributor Support team, as an approval from the local Autodesk Commercial team will still be required.
Autodesk will not accept an Approval to Train Specialized Product Request Form from an ATC or AAP who is not meeting the FY23 Program Requirements. Please refer to this document for further information
To apply for specialized products approval, the ALPs will need to prepare the following documentation:
- Approval to Train Specialized Products form
- Annual Business Plan
- Autodesk Approval to Train form for the instructor(s) who wish to teach specialized products
- Email from the Autodesk Partner Manager or Territory Manager’s confirming there is no objection for the partner to train on the products requested
FY23 Autodesk Learning Partner Approval to Train Specialized Products Form
- Review the detailed instructions in this form (for Distributors only)
- Ask the ALP to fill in this application
- Review the instructions on page 1 and 2 to see what needs to be included in the business plan
FY23 Instructor Approval to train Autodesk Products Request Form
- Instructor(s) will fill in and sign this form as part of the application
- Please note that the emphasis should be put on the specialized products they wish to train
